Thank you for choosing Rhino Coating Ltd. To ensure your installation runs smoothly and your new floor achieves the highest possible finish, please take a few moments to read the guidance below.

Before We Arrive

To allow our installers to begin work immediately, please ensure that:

  • All vehicles are removed from the garage or work area before our arrival.
  • Shelving, storage units, toolboxes and personal belongings are removed wherever possible.
  • Any wall-mounted items that may be affected by dust are protected or removed.
  • A clear access route is available from our vehicle to the work area.
  • A standard electrical supply and access to water are available throughout the installation.
  • Children and pets are kept away from the work area at all times.

If you are unable to move heavy items, please let us know before your installation date so we can discuss suitable arrangements.

Existing Concrete

Our flooring systems are only as good as the surface they are applied to.

Although we carry out extensive preparation before installation, existing issues within the concrete may still become visible once preparation has begun.

Examples include:

  • Existing cracks.
  • Weak or damaged concrete.
  • Previous repairs.
  • Existing coatings or sealers.
  • Surface contamination.
  • Moisture-related issues.

If additional repairs are required beyond those included within your quotation, we will discuss the available options with you before proceeding.

During Installation

Our preparation process involves professional diamond grinding and industrial dust extraction equipment.

Whilst our systems significantly reduce airborne dust, customers should expect:

  • Some dust during preparation.
  • Noise from mechanical equipment.
  • Restricted access to the work area during installation.

For your safety, please do not enter the work area unless invited to do so by a member of our team.

After Installation

Your new floor requires time to cure before it reaches full strength.

Typical curing times are:

  • Light foot traffic: Approximately 24 hours.
  • Vehicle traffic: Approximately 72 hours.
  • Heavy equipment or point loading: As advised by Rhino Coating Ltd.

Please note that curing times may vary depending on temperature, humidity and site conditions.

Looking After Your New Floor

To achieve the best long-term performance:

  • Do not drag heavy objects across the floor.
  • Clean up oil, fuel and chemical spillages as soon as possible.
  • Use soft brushes or microfibre mops for routine cleaning.
  • Avoid abrasive cleaning products or harsh solvents unless recommended by Rhino Coating Ltd.
  • Follow the Aftercare & Maintenance Guide supplied with your installation.
