10-Year Residential Warranty

At Rhino Coating Ltd, we stand behind the quality of our workmanship and the premium materials we use. Our 10-Year Residential Warranty has been designed to give you confidence that your new resin flooring system has been professionally installed and built to last.

This warranty applies to residential installations completed by Rhino Coating Ltd and is provided to the original purchaser. It is valid from the date of practical completion, subject to the terms outlined below.

What is Covered

Subject to these Terms and Conditions, this warranty covers defects that arise solely as a direct result of Rhino Coating Ltd's workmanship during the installation process, including:

• Loss of adhesion caused by installation defects.
• Defects in workmanship.
• Failure of the coating resulting directly from incorrect installation.
• Delamination caused by installation where the concrete substrate was suitable at the time of installation.

Where a valid warranty claim is accepted, Rhino Coating Ltd will, at its discretion, repair or replace the affected area at no cost to the Customer.

What is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover defects or damage resulting from circumstances outside the control of Rhino Coating Ltd, including but not limited to:

Existing Substrate

• Existing cracks within the concrete.
• Future cracking or movement of the concrete slab.
• Structural movement or settlement.
• Weak, contaminated or defective concrete.
• Existing moisture issues.
• Rising damp or hydrostatic pressure.

Customer Damage

• Impact damage.
• Dragging heavy or sharp objects.
• Accidental damage.
• Misuse or neglect.
• Incorrect cleaning methods.

Environmental Factors

• Flooding.
• Fire damage.
• Chemical damage caused by prolonged exposure or misuse.
• Damage caused by excessive heat outside the flooring system's intended use.

Normal Wear & Tear

• Minor scratches.
• Surface wear from normal use.
• Tyre staining or tyre plasticiser marks.
• Minor changes in gloss level over time.
• Natural ageing of the flooring system.

Alterations

This warranty becomes void where the flooring has been altered, repaired or modified by any third party without the written approval of Rhino Coating Ltd.

Natural Characteristics

Resin flooring is a hand-finished decorative surface and every installation is unique.

Minor variations are an inherent characteristic of the application process and are not considered defects.

These natural characteristics may include slight roller patterns, subtle texture variations, occasional pinholes, minor differences in sheen, decorative flake distribution and other small finish variations that do not affect the performance, durability or longevity of the flooring system.

Every floor is individually installed by hand, meaning no two floors will ever be completely identical. These natural variations are a normal feature of professionally installed resin flooring and contribute to the unique appearance of each installation.

Customer Responsibilities

To maintain the validity of this warranty, the Customer agrees to:

• Follow the Rhino Coating Ltd Aftercare & Maintenance Guide.
• Clean the floor using suitable cleaning products.
• Avoid dragging heavy objects across the floor.
• Clean chemical spills promptly.
• Allow the recommended curing period before use.

Failure to follow the recommended aftercare guidance may invalidate this warranty.

Making a Warranty Claim

If you believe your floor has developed a defect covered by this warranty, please contact Rhino Coating Ltd as soon as reasonably possible.

We may request photographs before arranging an inspection.

No third-party repairs or alterations should be carried out without first giving Rhino Coating Ltd reasonable opportunity to inspect the flooring and determine whether the issue is covered under this warranty.

Where a warranty claim is accepted, Rhino Coating Ltd reserves the right to repair, replace or otherwise remedy the affected area.

Important Information

This warranty applies only to the original installation carried out by Rhino Coating Ltd and is non-transferable unless agreed in writing.

This warranty is provided in addition to your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Nothing within this warranty limits or excludes those statutory rights.
