These Terms and Conditions apply to all quotations, contracts and works undertaken by Rhino Coating Ltd ("the Company") unless otherwise agreed in writing.
1.1 Quotations are valid for 28 days unless otherwise stated.
1.2 Quotations are based on information available at the time of survey or supplied by the Customer.
1.3 If unforeseen site conditions require additional work, Rhino Coating Ltd reserves the right to issue a revised quotation before continuing.
1.4 Acceptance of a quotation constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2.1 A booking is confirmed only upon receipt of the agreed deposit.
2.2 Installation dates are subject to availability.
2.3 Deposits are non-refundable if cancellation occurs within 14 days of the agreed installation date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
3.1 Payments shall be made in accordance with the quotation.
3.2 Unless otherwise agreed, a deposit is payable upon acceptance and the remaining balance is due immediately upon practical completion.
3.3 Late payments may incur statutory interest and reasonable recovery costs in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 where applicable.
3.4 Ownership of all materials remains with Rhino Coating Ltd until payment has been received in full.
4.1 The Customer agrees to provide unrestricted access to the work area throughout the installation.
4.2 Vehicles, personal belongings and other obstructions must be removed before work commences unless otherwise agreed.
4.3 The Customer shall ensure that electricity and water are available where required.
4.4 Children and pets must be kept away from the work area during installation and curing.
4.5 Delays caused by restricted access may result in additional charges.
5.1 Resin flooring systems rely upon the condition of the existing concrete substrate.
5.2 Rhino Coating Ltd accepts no responsibility for defects originating within the existing substrate including, but not limited to, existing or future cracking, structural movement, settlement, weak concrete, delamination, contamination or previous coatings.
6.1 Moisture testing may be carried out where appropriate; however, no testing method can guarantee future moisture movement.
6.2 Rhino Coating Ltd accepts no liability for failures caused by rising damp, hydrostatic pressure, water ingress or future moisture movement unless a separately quoted moisture mitigation system has been installed.
7.1 Surface preparation may include diamond grinding, mechanical preparation, crack repairs and filling of surface defects.
7.2 Reasonable repairs are included unless otherwise stated within the quotation.
7.3 Extensive repairs identified after preparation may incur additional charges subject to Customer approval.
8.1 All product images, printed materials and colour samples are provided as a guide only. Due to manufacturing tolerances, application techniques, lighting conditions and digital screen variations, slight differences in colour, texture and finish may occur.
8.2 Decorative flake distribution and metallic effects are hand applied and every installation is unique. Samples are representative only and cannot guarantee an exact match.
8.3 Resin flooring is a hand-finished decorative surface and every installation is unique. Minor variations are an inherent characteristic of the application process and are not considered defects.
8.4 These natural characteristics may include slight roller patterns, subtle texture variations, occasional pinholes, minor differences in sheen, decorative flake distribution and other small finish variations that do not affect the performance, durability or longevity of the flooring system.
8.5 Every floor is individually installed by hand, meaning no two floors will ever be completely identical. These natural variations are a normal feature of professionally installed resin flooring and contribute to the unique appearance of each installation.
9.1 The Customer should inspect the completed works as soon as reasonably practicable following practical completion.
9.2 Any concerns relating to workmanship should be reported to Rhino Coating Ltd in writing within 7 days of completion. This does not affect the Customer's statutory rights.
9.3 The Customer agrees not to instruct or permit any third party to repair, alter or remove the installed flooring without first giving Rhino Coating Ltd reasonable opportunity to inspect and, where appropriate, rectify any defect covered under the contract or warranty. Failure to do so may invalidate any warranty claim.
10.1 Typical curing times are approximately 24 hours for foot traffic and 72 hours for vehicle traffic unless otherwise advised.
10.2 Heavy machinery or point loading should only be introduced following guidance from Rhino Coating Ltd.
10.3 Temperature and humidity may extend curing times.
11.1 Heavy items and vehicles must not be placed on the floor until the advised curing period has elapsed.
11.2 Damage caused by premature use is not covered by the warranty.
12.1 Rhino Coating Ltd flooring systems provide excellent chemical resistance; however, prolonged exposure to certain chemicals may cause damage.
12.2 Spillages should be cleaned promptly.
13.1 Floors should be maintained using appropriate cleaning methods.
13.2 Abrasive cleaners, wire brushes and unapproved solvents should not be used.
13.3 Failure to follow Rhino Coating Ltd's Aftercare Guide may invalidate the warranty.
14.1 Where provided, the warranty covers defects arising directly from Rhino Coating Ltd's workmanship and installation only.
14.2 The warranty does not cover structural movement, settlement, cracking of the substrate, moisture ingress, rising damp, hydrostatic pressure, impact damage, scratches, tyre staining, tyre plasticiser staining, chemical damage, flooding, fire, misuse, neglect, fair wear and tear, alterations by third parties or failure to follow the Aftercare Guide.
14.3 Warranty claims must be submitted in writing and Rhino Coating Ltd must be given reasonable opportunity to inspect and, where appropriate, repair any verified defect.
15.1 The Customer is responsible for obtaining any permissions required before work commences.
15.2 The Customer shall inform Rhino Coating Ltd of any known defects, previous coatings, damp issues or structural concerns.
15.3 Adequate ventilation should be maintained after installation.
15.4 The Customer agrees to follow all aftercare guidance provided.
16.1 Rhino Coating Ltd shall not be liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control including severe weather, flooding, fire, accidents, illness, supplier shortages, transport disruption, industrial action, government restrictions or other unforeseen circumstances.
17.1 Where additional work becomes necessary due to unforeseen site conditions or changes requested by the Customer, Rhino Coating Ltd reserves the right to issue a revised quotation before carrying out the additional work.
17.2 Where work has commenced, the Customer remains liable for labour completed, materials ordered, materials used and any reasonable losses incurred if the contract is cancelled.
18.1 Rhino Coating Ltd reserves the right to photograph completed works for marketing purposes unless the Customer notifies the Company in writing before installation.
18.2 Customer names, addresses and personal information will never be published without permission.
19.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rhino Coating Ltd's total liability shall not exceed the value of the contract.
19.2 Nothing within these Terms excludes liability which cannot legally be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or fraud.
20.1 These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales.
20.2 Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
